    1. RESEARCH & SCHOLARSHIP

The ACICJ aims to play a pivotal role in fostering research and scholarship in the field of International Criminal Law and Justice (ICLJ) in Africa. With the goal of supporting uninterrupted, focused, independent research, the Centre’s upcoming Visiting Professors and Scholars-in-Residence program would provide law faculty and practitioners with the opportunity to engage in scholarly work through semester-long sabbaticals or month-long summer residencies. These placements would also provide expanded opportunities for collaboration with GIMPA, the greater ICLJ community, and fellow program participants. The Centre will thus work to build a collaborative consortium among law schools in Ghana and abroad, to share knowledge and coordinate research in the field of International Criminal Law and Justice.
